An accredited member of the Public Relations Institute of New Zealand, I am also an amateur photographer, keen gardener, lover of history and a big time believer in two-way symmetrical communication methods – To develop depth, strength and trust.
Since launching DOSC in 2014, I have worked with a variety of clients including:
Previously I managed Palmerston North City Council's communications team. While there I created the inaugural Internal Communications Strategy and Digital Strategy, grew social media audience by 5,000 people, won the ALGIM website of the year award in 2014, introduced Te Reo macrons across all channels, provided communications support for the Palmerston North City Library restructure and the Wildbase Recovery fundraising project.
In 2012, I won New Zealand's Supreme Public Relations Award for my work with Sam Johnson and the Student Volunteer Army. This work was carried out while employed by Convergence Communications and Marketing. While there, I worked with a multitude of clients including: Student Volunteer Army, Pike River, Mercury Energy, Meridian Energy, Southern Storm Fishing, Kellogg Rural Leader Programme, Sir Bob Parker, Canterbury Tactix, Christchurch Women's Refuge, the New Zealand Association of Orthodontists, South Island Agricultural Field Days, South Island Farmer of the Year, Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology and Civil Defence post the Darfield Quake.
